Manage Manufacturers

From Organization Menu, click Manage Manufacturers

Manufacturers are a way of organizing your products so that customers can browse your site more easily, similar to categories and departments. It is not absolutely necessary to use anufacturers, but most sites are going to be improved by this kind of organization.

To create a manufacturer, click one of the green plus (+) buttons on the grid view. The + button at the bottom of the page will add a new manufacturer. The + sign button next to an existing manufacturer will add a new submanufacturer under that one. For an explanation of all of the fields that can be set for each manufacturer, see here.

Products are assigned to a manufacturer on the Manage Products page, as shown below:
