HSBC is a UK-only payment gateway that allows you to accept all major credit cards (including Maestro) directly through your site. See here for more information and to sign up for an account.

Enabling the HSBC Gateway

1. In the AspDotNetStorefront admin console, go to the Site Configuration Wizard page.

2. In the Payment Gateway section, click the 'configure' link next to the HSBC entry.

3. Put in the values you obtained from HSBC for the 'Client Password' and 'Client Name'.

4. Put in a value for 'Client Alias' OR 'Client ID'. Do not put in both values.

5. Click 'Save and Close'.

6. Finally, click the radio button next to HSBC and then click the 'Submit' button.
