Difference between culture and uiculture

The difference between culture and uiculture is that culture affects culture-dependent functions like money, date formatting and so on, while uiculture affects what resources are loaded for the application.  This can be seen in the web.config file, <globalization requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" culture="en-US" uiCulture="en-US"/>.

For detailed discussion about culture and uiculture please read How to: Set the Culture and UI Culture for ASP.NET Web Page Globalization.
