By default, the storefront software displays entities and products in alphabetical order. Store admins may wish to alter that display order to present more popular products/entities nearer the tops of lists. To do that, follow the steps below.
Entity Display Order
To change entity display orders:
1 - Navigate to the entity type being altered and click on the Display Order button at the top of the page.
2 - Number the entities listed in the popup window in the order you want them to display. All entities given the same number will be ordered alphabetically within that grouping.
3 - Click 'Update Order'.
Product Display Order
To change product display orders:
1 - Navigate to the Manage Entity page for the kind of entity you wish to change the display order of products within.
2 - Click on the name of the entity you want to order your products in.
3 - In the window that opens, click on the Products tab.
4 - Click on the 'Display Order' link.
5 - Edit the display order for the products you would like to rearrange, then click the Order Update button. You must click the Order Update button before closing this window or clicking the main Update button, or your changes will not be saved!
