From Misc menu, click More → Galleries
Image galleries allow you to display multiple images on a special page on your site. This can be used for product image display if you need extra images, for special events, or whatever else you may need to display large numbers of images on one page for.
Galleries can be linked to in 2 ways:
http://www.yoursite.com/showgalleries.aspx (which shows a list of all of your galleries)
http://www.yoursite.com/showgalleries.aspx?galleryid=# (which will display only the gallery whose ID # you specify)
From this page, you can add new galleries, edit or delete existing ones, and change the display order the galleries appear in on the showgalleries.aspx page.
Adding a Gallery
To add a new gallery, click the 'Add New' button and fill out the fields below:
| Field Name | Description |
| Name | The name of the gallery. Will appear to customers. |
| Description | Description/text explaining the gallery. Will appear to customers. |
| Image | This image represents the gallery on the main showgallery.aspx page, it will not appear within the gallery itself. |
| Directory | Select a folder name to store the images for this gallery in. They will go in /images/gallery/nameyoupick |
| Display Order | The order the galleries appear in on showgallery.aspx. If these are all left to 1, galleries are listed alphabetically. |
Adding Images to a Gallery
Once the gallery is created, click the 'Manage Images' link on the main Galleries page in the admin site. The screen below will be displayed. Click 'Browse' to find the image you wish to upload, then click 'Submit'. Once the images are loaded, use the other options shown to reorder or remove them.
