Beginning in version 8.1.0.0, the AspDotNetStorefront software supports integrations with 2 of Skrill's services. The on-site payment gateway which collects customer payment information through your site like a normal payment gateway is discussed on this page. The software also supports Skrill's Quick Checkout method, where payment information is not handled by your site at all. This integration method is covered below.
With Skrill (Moneybookers) Quick Checkout, customers appear to check out through your site, but the payment information is actually entered on Skrill's secure servers, through a form that displays on your site in an iFrame.
Enabling Skrill (Moneybookers) Quick Checkout
To turn on the this feature, simply follow these steps:
1. In the AspDotNetStorefront admin site, go to Configuration → Advanced → AppConfig Settings.
2. In the Config Search box, enter “Moneybookers”, then click Search.
3. Put in the values you obtained from Skrill (Moneybookers) for the Moneybookers.SenderID, Moneybookers.UserLogin, Moneybookers.UserPassword, and Moneybookers.ChannelID AppConfigs.
4. Finally, go to Configuration → Site Configuration Wizard in the AspDotNetStorefront admin console, check teh box next to 'Moneybookers Quick Checkout' in the Payment Methods Accepted section, then click 'Submit'.
Checking out with Skrill (Moneybookers) Quick Checkout
To pay through this payment method, customers add to the cart and go through the checkout process normally. On the final payment step, the payment form will be shown in an iFrame within your normal checkout page. If the customer is logged in with an address that Moneybookers recognizes (from previous purchases through that service), they will be prompted to log in. If not, the customer will be presented with a form to register and complete checkout.
Either way, once the customer logs in and completes checkout, they will be sent to the receipt page on your site to view the final receipt.
NOTE: Skrill (Moneybookers) Quick Checkout is supported on standard checkout and Smart One Page checkout only. Basic one page checkout is not supported.
