The Skin Preview page allows store admins to easily manage their site's skins. While skins cannot be created/edited here, store admins can organize their skins and preview their appearances. You can also assign the default skin for the entire store with the 'Set as Default Store Skin' button.
NOTE: The Edit and Delete buttons on this page affect the skin preview only, not the skins themselves.
Adding a Skin Preview
To add a new preview, click the 'Add New SkinPreview' button and fill in the fields pictured below.
Field Name
Description
Skin ID
Skins are stored in the /skins/skin_# folders wherever the software is installed. The number at the end of that path is used as the skinID, so for example if the skin files you wish to use are in /skins/skin_3, the ID for this field would be 3.
Skin Preview Name
This can be any name which will help store admins recognize the skin when working on this page.
Group Name
If desired, skins can be put into groups to help organize them. Put the desired group name here (if it does not exist, it will be created).
Icon/Medium Pic
Store admins can upload images to represent the new skin preview here. If these fields are left blank, the store will automatically generate images based on what the skins would look like on the front end.
